Rebekah has always had an eye for fashion, well, once it was a proper thing that is. She's easily able to compel store owners or retail workers to give her clothes, even if she has the money to buy things. She is sometimes surprised by the lack of length in the more recent styles, but she wears them just as well as the long flowing dresses of the past.
The Original Vampire sister also adores boys, naturally. Being the only girl for a long time, she got used to Niklaus scaring off any potential suitors, not to mention her other siblings. She flirts easily, effortlessly cool and intriguing, although she isn't keen on bringing any boys home with Nik around.
Rebekah has always loved all her brothers, clear by her unwavering loyalty to Niklaus and Elijah, even with the former daggering her more than once. With that being said, she could occasionally be known to enjoy getting up to some mischief with Kol, and it's something that is still somewhat entertaining.
Despite how it may come across, Rebekah truly does crave her freedom at times, needing to escape. She can't stand it for too long, always ending up back with Nik and Elijah, comfortable with her siblings by her side. Family is always and forever, and she is incredibly determined to stick by that vow, no matter how long ago it was made.
Rebekah is also quite cunning, and she has a temper, just like the rest of her family. Even if she seems like the kindest of the Mikaelson siblings, just because she's a girl, that doesn't mean she is. She won't hesitate to snap a few necks if it gets them further along with whatever they're doing. She'll do whatever it takes to defend herself and her family.
Rebekah was born into a family of 7 siblings, one of the younger siblings out of the bunch. From the beginning, she was the only girl, her sister Freya supposedly dead. She had a difficult time, naturally, not training and fighting like the boys, but spending time with their mother. She knew what she was, a witch, but she didn't meld with it as effortlessly as her brother Kol seemed to. She was quite close with Elijah and Niklaus, so that when they got turned, it was no surprise her loyalty to them was incredibly strong.
Running from their father was a nightmare, in the simplest way. Having to keep moving, keep hiding out, blending in so that he wouldn't find them and kill them, it was a horror. She hated it, that their own father would turn against them, despise them for what they, and he, had become. Becoming a vampire had given them new strengths, that would naturally take time to develop and hone. But it had also taken away so much, the ability to fall in love and grow old with someone, to have children, a family. Her family were her brothers, and she made a pact with Elijah and Niklaus of Always and Forever.
Time passed, as it's prone to do, running and running, hardly getting time to stop and grow comfortable. They met plenty of strangers, notably Aurora and Tristan De Martel, and Lucien, whom they turned and Elijah compelled to become them. That was the first time any of them had used compulsion, and the discovery of that ability would grow to be quite important. Rebekah, herself, found it very convenient, but that comes later.
New Orleans was the next notable marker in Rebekah's past, where they met Marcellus, a boy she grew fond of and developed feelings for. It didn't last long, as their father found them and they had to flee the city. Little did they know that Marcel would take over the city as he rebuilt it.
Another town of note was Mystic Falls, where the Mikaelsons met the Salvatore brothers, and Katerina's, then known as Katherine Pierce's, doppleganger, Elena Gilbert. Rebekah was particularly entertained by going back to the high school, interrupting the lives of Elena and her friends, Caroline and Bonnie. She had a brief, almost schoolgirl-esque, crush on Matt Donovan, the school's golden boy. But, humans never last long and she got past it.
Returning to New Orleans was strange, considering they had left it so suddenly in the past. Even stranger, discovering that Marcel was in charge and not keen on their return. Things we complicated, and they went through plenty, getting the city back and recalling it as their home. All because Nik had somehow found nature's loophole, and gotten a wolf pregnant.
Rebekah liked Hayley. Not at first, of course, as she was suspicious of her and her affiliation with her dearest brother. But, she gained her respect, and friendship, and then consideration as part of their family. She was especially eager when she got to take care of Hope, and spend time with the child.
Then there was the switching bodies, their mother returning, their father, both brothers. Such a mess, the Mikaelson family was, and possibly always would be. Nowadays, Rebekah's main concern is the hex, and trying to appear alright. This is the one thing from her history, most recently, that she'd rather get rid of.
